  12. Hydra/3  is  a confident solution for including the bi-directional HydraCom
  13. transfer  protocol  into  CNet/3.  HydraCom allows your users to upload and
  14. download at the same time; while as a bonus they can chat with you.

  17. Following is a list of features Hydra/3 offers:
  18.  
  19. o Reads CNet's Selectlist and creates Hydra sendlist
  20. o Transfers run over a temporary dir - no orphan files in any subboard
  21.   when transfer gets interrupted!
  22. o Fully aware of *ALL* influences on transfer, such as byte/file credits;
  23.   daily bytes/files; disabled ratios; etc.
  24. o Analyses Hydra's result-log for filenames & sizes
  25. o Adds uploaded files into CNet's dirlisting; files are online immediately
  26.   after successful transfer!
  27. o Describes uploaded files the normal way, thus you can use your preferred
  28.   File_ID.diz processor or whatever!
  29. o Sysop only must move files from tempdir to the final location
  30. o Gives correct upload credits depending on users ratio
  31. o Writes CNet conform into the up/download logfile
  32. o Fully aware of carrier losses & resumable files; writes automail & prompts
  33.   user for upload resume!
  34. o utterly easy installation, needs very few configuration; only 2 changes to
  35.   your bbstext, 1 extra subboard, 1 change in the main program, and you're
  36.   ready to burn something!
  37. o Localized. Multiple language output possible!
  38. o Fully multiline aware, gets the devicename and unitnumber of the serial
  39.   from CNet's main configuration.
